Of course there is always a silent and live auction and I don't know if it was me but this year there seemed to be more items than usual which is a good thing! I want to say a special thank you to some of the people who donated items for the auctions which included Joe Pintauro, Bebe Newirth, Nathan Lane, Vera Wang and Gwyneth Paltrow.
People talk about tough economic times and although we are slowly coming out of it, I think it was great that so many people bought tickets to this event, sponsored and donated items for the auctions and supported this ever important fundraiser for the Bay Street Theatre. This annual gala is very important because it helps to keep Bay Street Theatre alive and operating. Everyone from Sag Harbor locals to theatre lovers from all over absolutely adore the theatre and its shows. This adoration was evident by the number of people that attended this exciting event that evening.
Some of the noted people that were in attendance were Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy, Eli Wallach and his wife, Ann, Tina Louise who played "Ginger" on "Gilligan's Island", Joe Pintauro, Marty Richards, Stuart Lane, Kate Burton, Lisa Perry, Angela LaGreca, Julie Fitzgerald, Managing Director at Bay Street Theatre, Tracy Mitchell, General Manager at Bay Street Theatre, Bob Edelman, Publisher of Dan's Papers and Plum TV Host, Lauren Ezersky just to name a few. Here are some pics from that evening:

A fun evening was had by all and it was another Bay Street Theatre success! This was my sixth year going to this and each year it gets better and better. If you missed it this year, be sure to go next year because this is one of the Hamptons major events for the summer and you don't want to miss it. I've also been to many shows at the theatre and there is always something for everyone. You can check out what's happening on the main stage, kidstreet, comedy and everything else by logging onto http://www.baystreet.org/. Thank you especially to Terry Ross my photographer for FameHampton. Another weekend in the Hamptons is coming up and I'll be headed out for more fun and parties so stay posted and be safe!
Arrive at your next event in style by calling East End Limousine at 866-410-6600. You'll be more relaxed and having a drink or two won't worry you. Call them 24 hours a day.
