Tauk of the Town...

Well this weekend was full of lots of stuff to do out here in the Hamptons. July and August are traditionally the busiest out here and you can find yourself trying to run to two or three events in one night!

One event that is coming up next weekend is taking place in Montauk and is the annual "Night at the Light" A Celebration of Long Island Wines. The event is from 5-8pm and is held at the historical Montauk Lighthouse.


This picture you see is one I took last year at the event so you can see what a gorgeous day it was! This event is held under a big white tent and proceeds go to the Montauk Lighthouse and the Montauk Chamber of Commerce. The past years have been successful and I look forward to this year being just as successful. You never know who will be there. Here is a pic of me and Aida Turturro from last years event.



There is live music and this year's special guest is Gary Vaynerchuk, Host of winelibrarytv.com. It's a great event where you get to taste wine from various Long Island Wineries including Duck Walk Vineyards, Bedell Cellars, Martha Clara, Wolffer Estate, Lieb Cellars, Osprey Dominion, Palmer Vineyards, Jamesport Vineyards, Channing Daughters and Macari Vineyards.



This year Hors D'Oeuvres are provided by Art of Eating. There are raffles and prizes which are always fun and of course, gift bags.
