Hamptons Magazine Annual Clambake at the Montauk Yacht Club

Last Saturday, July 26, I had the pleasure to attend Hamptons Magazine's Annual Clambake at IGY's Montauk Yacht Club in Montauk. This year the Montauk Yacht Club is celebrating their 80th Anniversary so this seemed the perfect venue for this event. The event was held on the Great Lawn overlooking numerous gorgeous yachts with tables that were set with blue and white linens. Various bars were located throughout the area and there was a buffet where everyone got in line to fill their plates with fresh Steamers, Corn on the Cob, spicy Potato Wedges, tasty Clams and perfectly done Lobsters with warm melted butter.

The dance floor in the middle of all the fun gave way to everyone dancing the night away under a moonlit sky. The entire dance floor was full of happy faces and rhythmic bodies!

There were so many people having a good time and I didn't see one person who wasn't smiling!

The evening was a fun time for all and had sponsors and gift bags. Included in these were Sagatiba Cachaca, Yogaworks, C&C California, Iconix Group, Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa, and La Perla. There was also a classy, red Ferrari on display to add to this upscale crowd.

Jason Binn, CEO and Founder of Niche Media and Andrew Farkas, Chairman of Island Global Yachting which owns the Montauk Yacht Club, gave speeches to thank everyone for attending and everyone gave a huge round of applause for both gentlemen.
